Join Douglas Chase as he digs up his backyard in search of treasures and fame!

*** iPhone 3GS not supported ***

Douglas Chase is a not so great archeologist working for a failing museum. He must dig up objects to save his job and the museum as well.
Nigel the mummy will be out to get Douglas, but don’t worry, Nigel’s sense of direction is not so great (too many years buried in a tomb will do that), however if Nigel does touch your digging line, all heck will break loose!

Many more enemies will join Nigel so collect hats (magic hats of course!), that will help Douglas along his adventure digging deeper and deeper to the center of the earth…

Inspired by the arcade game “QiX”, Dig! is a fast paced game which requires quick changes of direction and strategy to dig out 75% of each level to complete. Different enemies will add to the difficulty however Nigel will always be close by, wandering around as he does. Collect artefacts for money to help the museum and to buy power-ups and hats. Collect exhibit pieces to put into the museum and earn a paycheck for Douglas.

Pros and cons of Dig! app for iPhone and iPad

Dig! app good for

So, i have played this game sooo many times and i love it so. But OOOOOHHHH HOW I HATE NIGEL!!!!!!!!
The levels get progressively more challenging and the mobs have different tactics on each major level which makes it interesting. Im around level 16 now and cant put it down. Recommended!
As the title says, a "Styx" style game but it gets hard too fast and too much uncontrollable things that make you fail
Just got it its awesome its really fun but it gets too hard too fast and also it crashes on my iPad 1

Some bad moments

This doesnt make sense considering youre trying to fight EGYPTIAN-themed enemies. Last I checked, elves, blobs, GIANT SQUIDS, and penguins werent a part of Egyptian armies, especially if they were undead. Want it more realistic? Create more reasonable enemies, like scorpions, MUMMIES, even Egyptian soldier skeletons as enemies and ditch the lame, nonsensical ones. I know its a childs game basically, but the whole concept is dumb. Instead of having the Egyptian pharaoh himself chasing the character, why not put him in as a final boss, while putting reasonable enemies in lower levels starting with just scorpions and snakes, then move slowly to putting mummies and other harder ones in later levers like maybe level 10 instead of 2?
Not many levels, some annoyingly hard With persistence you will make it to the bottom of the dig in less than 30 minutes after that game is wortless
The game will not load plz fix this bug and I will rate 5 stars.plz read
If youre old enough to remember Qix (pronounced "kicks") by Taito released in 1981, its exactly the same concept. Claim blocks of area by drawing lines but stay away from the bad guys. In this version youre a lazy archeologist assistant that wears hats to protect you from a mummy and his friends including garden gnomes (no Im not kidding). As you dig your way down you get different environments and enemies like slimes in the sewer. Despite the kitsch, its playable but the controls are a little touchy. Id say buy it if youre really bored.
The play is great and its a bit cheeky which make even more entertaining. And if you just cant wait to collect coins to spend in the store the biggest purchase is very reasonable!
I agree with the other reviews very similar to qix, and it can be challenging at times. However, the storyline is very short and I finished the game in a few hours and now its just repeating the same levels Ive already played. At a certain point there isnt anywhere to go in the game. I regret purchasing the game since I normally dont buy games, this ended up being not worth the 2.99
